The agency that operates the tobacco quit line for the state and oversees the teen anti smoking program will soon be able to go after new sources of revenue. The Ohio legislature has given the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation the authority to establish a non profit corporation. Leader Mike Renner says this is a good opportunity for his organization.
Renner says his agency will be working to establish the non profit corporation in the coming months. He hopes to have it operational by the end of this year. |
