Barrage of suspect bombs bring fearful concern to some, but careful reaction from police.
By Jo Ingles - July 6, 2007
The Columbus Bomb Squad was busy yesterday as it dealt with a handful of suspicious bags that had been left in various locations around the city. None of those bags turned out to be dangerous. But some city residents began to wonder if the bags were a decoy planted by someone who really meant to do harm to the city. The Executive Director of Homeland Security for Ohio was checking into that question too. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Bill Vedra explains his agency was working hand in hand with Columbus police officials as they dealt with the suspicious bags.

Two suspects have been taken into custody in connection with one of the suspicious packages in Columbus.
