New rule requiring option of maternity leave may not be delivered as scheduled.

A proposed new rule that requiring most Ohio companies to offer 12 weeks of unpaid pregnancy and maternity leave to female workers appears to be in trouble. On Monday, a special government rule-review committee plans to look at the rule that was approved by the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. And a co-chair of the panel says members could vote to invalidate it. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has the latest.
