Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": State lawmakers consider what they can do in the wake of the horrible and yet miraculous escape story out of Cleveland involving three women held prisoner in a house for a decade. Social networking website gives in to Ohio AG and others and adds new safeguards.
By Bill Cohen - January 14, 2008
The operators of My Space.com have agreed to add new safeguards, so that children and teens who use the internet social network won't be so vulnerable to sex perverts. State Attorneys General had pushed for the changes. Among them -- Ohio's Marc Dann.

Dann says a panel of internet experts is being formed to come up with specific safeguards, not just for MySpace.com but also for other, similar social networks on the internet. The panel is supposed to come up with its recommendations within a year.
