Bob Taft has been out of office for more than 18 months - after becoming the first Ohio governor convicted in office because of ethics charges related to the Coingate scandal. One of Taft's loudest critics during that scandal was then state senator Marc Dann. He's now the former attorney general, having resigned over a sex scandal in his office. That makes some wonder - what does Taft think about what happened at the AG's office?
Taft was at COSI in Columbus to kick off a campaign to push the presidential candidates to talk more about education issues. Taft is now holds the title of distinguished research associate for educational excellence at the University of Dayton. |
