Many women around the world don't have much control over their sexual health. They can't ensure their partner wears a condom, and are consequently at increased risk for HIV. But microbicidal gels that kill HIV on contact may help women protect themselves. Gretchen Cuda of member station WCPN reports on a new trial in Cleveland that's hoping to put HIV prevention back into women's hands. |
