Thousands wait for hours to vote to avoid standing in long lines on election day.

Today is the last day for "early voting" in Ohio. Thousands of people are trying to avoid long lines at the polls on election day, but, ironically, they're now waiting in long lines to vote early. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen saw that phenomenon at a downtown Columbus center for early voting this afternoon.
