When Democrat Barack Obama is inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States, he will take over an economy that faces serious challenges. That's why he says it's important for the country to have someone to oversee the effectiveness of government programs and make sure taxpayer money isn't wasted. So Obama has created a new position - performance czar. Ohio's leaders face their own economic challenges right now as the state budget faces a projected seven Billion dollar deficit over the next couple of years. Does Ohio need its own performance czar? Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles delves into that question. |
