By Jo Ingles - January 26, 2009
The number of Ohioans infected with a common strain of salmonella continues to rise. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Kristopher Weiss of the Ohio Health Department says dozens of Ohioans have been infected.

Weiss says the federal government has not determined the exact source of the salmonella outbreak. However, many products containing peanut butter or paste have been pulled from store shelves because health officials just in case they turn out to be contaminated. A full list of the products that have been recalled can be found on the state health department's website at www.odh.gov.
