Gov. Ted Strickland keeps saying he is not pushing for tax increases, but don't tell that to Ohio trucking companies. Their owners are facing a huge increase in the fees they pay on overweight and oversized trucks, and they consider the fee hike a tax hike. Whatever you call the extra charges, backers of them say there's good reason for them. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has both sides of the story. |
