Negotiators for the ohio Senate and House have reached agreement over several issues they had disagreed on, including a tougher mandatory seat belt law, highway cameras, annual motor vehicle registration fees, and a passenger train line from Cleveland to Cincinnati. The compromise means that state lawmakers may be able to meet a Tuesday deadline for approving a new state transportation budget and capturing millions of federal dollars. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
