A new federal report shows more than a quarter of Ohioans under the age of 65 have gone without health insurance for some time during 2007 and 2008. Ron Pollack of Families USA, a group that bills itself as a voice for health care consumers, says the report shows there are many Ohioans who lack consistent health care coverage.

Pollack says Ohio's situation is actually better than the national average. But Pollack says more than 86 million Americans were without health insurance coverage during 2007 and 2008.
