Ohio executed a death row inmate in Lucasville this morning. 45 year old John Fautenberry was put to death with a lethal injection shortly after ten this morning at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility. Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray says the execution process went smoothly. |

| Fautenberry, an Oregon trucker, was convicted of murdering a man in the Cincinnati area in 1991. Fautenberry also confessed to killing four people in three other states -- Alaska, Oregon and New Jersey -- in 1990 and '91. |
