State's second execution of the year puts serial killer to death.

Ohio executed a death row inmate in Lucasville this morning. 45 year old John Fautenberry was put to death with a lethal injection shortly after ten this morning at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility. Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray says the execution process went smoothly.

Fautenberry, an Oregon trucker, was convicted of murdering a man in the Cincinnati area in 1991. Fautenberry also confessed to killing four people in three other states -- Alaska, Oregon and New Jersey -- in 1990 and '91.
