Though jobs in journalism are being cut, more students than ever want to enter the field.

One out of five jobs in journalism has disappeared since 2001, according to a Pew Foundation study. The industry continues to shed jobs by the thousands and hardly anyone is hiring. The odd thing is, the number of students signing up for journalism and communication courses across the country continues to rise. From Ohio Public Radio member station WCPN, David C. Barnett paid a visit to Kent State University to find out why.
