Opponents of that plan to install thousands of slot machines at race tracks don't yet know if the state supreme court will give them the right to put the plan up for a referendum next year. But they're moving ahead anyway with a petition drive that's a requirement for a referendum. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports on the latest legal maneuvering. |
