Ohio University surprise win in NCAA brings out the usual responise - partiers and cops.
By Fred Kight - March 19, 2010
Police in Athens had to call out reinforcements to deal with a large crowd that was celebrating an upset win in the NCAA men's basketball tournament last night. Ohio University had just knocked off Georgetown. That's when students who had been watching the game on TV poured out of the bars.

Police Chief Ric Mayer described the crowd as "rowdy" and says they blocked the street. Reportedly, some climbed on top of cars, and one person was arrested. The Athens Police Department put out the call for more officers before moving in to disperse the gathering. An hour later they were gone. Underdog OU now moves to the second round of the tournament.
