Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": State lawmakers consider what they can do in the wake of the horrible and yet miraculous escape story out of Cleveland involving three women held prisoner in a house for a decade. New data shows more than half of all violent crimes are committed by a very small numbers of offenders. Lawmakers are now working to target that tiny group. Top elections official has good news for voters who plan to wait till election day.
By Bill Cohen - October 29, 2010
Ohio's top elections official is telling election-day voters they shouldn't have to wait very long to cast their ballots. Here is Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner.

Brunner has forecast that when all the votes are tallied - the ones cast on election day PLUS the ones cast early by absentee ballot - the turnout will be about 52% of registered voters. That's more than the 47% who turned out in the statewide elections of 2002, but it's less than the 56% who turned out in 2006.
