Ohio's top elections official is telling election-day voters they shouldn't have to wait very long to cast their ballots. Here is Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner.
Brunner has forecast that when all the votes are tallied - the ones cast on election day PLUS the ones cast early by absentee ballot - the turnout will be about 52% of registered voters. That's more than the 47% who turned out in the statewide elections of 2002, but it's less than the 56% who turned out in 2006. |
