Salon owner picked up in what could turn into big human trafficking case.
By Jo Ingles - November 23, 2010
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has arrested the owner of a nail salon in Solon as part of a seven month investigation into what could be part of a human trafficking scheme. Byron Gno was charged with complicity to commit fraud, a third degree felony. The director of the Ohio Board of Cosmetology, Kevin Miller, explains Gno allegedly paid employees to fraudulently get licenses from the state.

Miller says a now defunct cosmetology college in Cleveland is also under investigation for reportedly giving out hundreds of degrees to people who never attended classes. Miller says there are several other people who are likely to be charged as part of this investigation in the future.
