Gov.-elect explains his plans regarding unionizing order that will expire.

Two executive orders that let Ohio home health care and child care workers unionize are going to expire. Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland issued the orders three years ago, but incoming Republican John Kasich says he won't renew them.

About 14,000 home health care and child care workers have taken advantage of the current executive order to join unions. The American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees and the Service Employees International Union have represented the workers in negotiations over pay and fringe benefits with state officials.
