Republican John Kasich was inaugurated today as the 69th governor of Ohio. The formal noon-time ceremony at the historic Ohio Theatre, across from the statehouse, was basically just symbolic. That’s because Kasich had officially taken the oath of office right after midnight at a smaller, lower-key event. Still, as statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports, the more formal inauguration ceremony allowed Kasich to proclaim a theme for his next four years.
