New congressman says he’ll still be available to constituents in wake of Arizona shootings.
By Fred Kight - January 14, 2011
Residents of Southeast Ohio who live in the 18th Congressional District will still be able to see and interact with their representative. That's the pledge from Congressman Bob Gibbs, despite what happened to his colleague last weekend in Arizona. But Gibbs - in an interview yesterday - says lessons are being learned from the shooting incident which killed six and wounded many others.

Gibbs says there is a new concern for safety but not at the expense of personal constituent contact.

Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-18) (:12)
