Republican leaders in the Ohio Senate have just tweaked that proposed $55 billion state budget that the Ohio House passed several weeks ago. The latest plan softens proposed spending cuts for schools, local governments, and programs for children and the elderly. But supporters of those causes still are not cheering. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
