May storms were some of the costliest in Ohio history in terms of insurance losses.
By Jo Ingles - June 20, 2011

In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, the Ohio Insurance Institute’s Mary Bonelli explains the storms that hit in May are among the most costly in the state’s recent history.

Bonelli says construction costs are up 12% since June of 2009 and she says that’s adding to the price of insurance.
