Governor takes annual address out of Columbus, and Democratic party chair says there's a reason.
By Jo Ingles - February 6, 2012
Gov. John Kasich will give his State of the State speech tomorrow/later today but for the first time in nearly a century, the speech won’t be delivered on Capitol Square in Columbus. Kasich will give the annual speech with a joint session of lawmakers at Wells Academy, one of the state’s highest performing public elementary schools. Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles reports.

You can hear our live coverage of Gov. John Kasich's second State of the State speech starting at 1pm Tuesday on many Ohio public radio and public television stations across Ohio. Many stations will also stream coverage of the speech on their websites.
