It might come as a surprise to many Ohioans that state treasurer Josh Mandel has just formally announced his intention to run for U.S. Senate earlier today. After all, he’s been talking about it and raising money for it for months now. It might also surprise many Ohioans to know there are five other Republicans who are running against Mandel in that Senate primary.
