Ohio’s program to help workers, injured on the job, says it’s made a lot of progress in recent years - workplaces are generally safer, workers are getting incentives to improve their own health and premiums that businesses pay to fund the program have been cut while benefits have not. Still, officials at the Bureau of Workers Compensation admit problems continue. That’s why they’re working with majority Republicans in the legislature to make more changes - changes that minority Democrats and labor unions oppose. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen files this report. |
