A new report by a group studying achievement in the states elementary, middle and high schools is recommending some schools change the way they teach students. The task force thinks it knows the reasons why, on the whole, blacks, Hispanics, and poor children do not do as well in the classroom as wealthier white children. In an interview with Ohio Public Radios Jo Ingles, the Ohio department of educations Joe Johnson talks about the task forces findings. |
