When Ohio voters approved the measure that would allow the stateto clean up brownfields and buy land for parks and nature preserves, most of the state's environmental groups backed that plan. Buteven though they pushed for its passage, they worried aloud thatthe process for cleaning up those abandoned industrial sites would need to be changed. Now one of the groups has examined the state's current clean up program and is making recommendationsto improve it. Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles has more on the story. |
