Drug Abuse by Inmates Falls to Ten-Year Low.

Drug abuse among Ohio prison inmates has dropped to a ten year low.At least, that's what corrections officials are saying after doing their annual testing on a representative group of about one-fifth of the prisoners.The tests show that less than one per cent of the inmates have been on illegal drugs. A spokeswoman for the Ohio Corrections Department, Andrea Dean, says that's good news. She talked with Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen:

That's Andrea Dean of the State Corrections Department. She says the percentage of inmates who've been caught this year with illegal drugs in their bodies is about half what it was last year.
