Capital punishment made big news in Ohio this year -- in three ways. First,
Ohio executed its first unwilling death row inmate in 38 years. Then, another
death row inmate won court delays, putting off his execution. And then, legislators
voted to unplug Ohio's electric chair, so it can never been used again. This week,
Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has been reviewing for us the year in state
government. This report focuses on crime and punishment. |
