There's some relatively good news on Ohio's economic front -- the unemployment
rate for December did not go up. It remained steady at 4.8%. That is a full percentage
point lower than the national jobless rate - 5.8%. The Ohio Department of Job
and Family Services is the agency that tracks the state unemployment numbers,
and Dennis Evans is a spokesman for it. He talked about the latest figures with
statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen. |
