Governor Taft says he's confident an internet anti-pornography bill he signed into law will withstand a court challenge. A US District judge issued a temporary restraining order Friday. Lawyers for bookstores, newspapers and video-software dealers says the law is overly broad and could be applied to mainstream material. Governor Taft says the bill is intended to protect children from sexual predators, not stop publishers from selling books. |
