New data shows more than half of all violent crimes are committed by a very small numbers of offenders. Lawmakers are now working to target that tiny group. Brown cast-metal signs are popping up all over Ohio to help celebrate the state's 200th birthday next year. The signs commemorate historical events in local communities, and a total of 293 have been approved by the Ohio Bicentennial Commission. The last batch has just been okayed for state grants that pay for two-thirds of the cost. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports they tell all kinds of stories. |
