Ohio law currently allows the state's senior citizens to take a $50 tax credit each year. But one Ohio lawmaker says many seniors are being shortchanged at tax time because they file jointly.
Senator Ron Amstutz is pushing a plan that he believes would change that. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Amstutz explains his plan would allow erase a so-called marriage penalty for seniors who file jointly. |
