Activists predict cutting benefits for the poor will cost the state in the future.

Poor people, their advocates, and medical professionals gave some key Ohio legislators an earful Friday. The activists predicted that proposed cuts in free medical care for low-income adults will be devastating for people’s health, and will actually cost state government more money in the long-run. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
