A project to recover a Native American language will get a boost this spring with the publication of a dictionary. The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and Miami University in Oxford combined tribal knowledge with University resources to bring back a language that was spoken through-out much of Ohio and Indiana prior to statehood. Tom Borgerding of member station W-O-S-U in Columbus has the first in a series of reports on the Myaamia Project. |
