Incidents of lead poisoning in kids is down, but not eliminated.
By Bill Cohen - July 20, 2005
The problem of lead-poisoning in Ohio children continues to ease up, but it hasn’t disappeared altogether. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen asked Ohio Department of Health spokesman Kristopher Weiss about the new numbers. Weiss says parents should have their children tested for lead poisoning at the office of their family doctor. Weiss says physicians are required to test kids for lead-poisoning if they live in zip codes where the problem is the worst.
