Many Ohio legislators are up in arms over a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that gives a green light to cities using eminent domain to turn neighborhoods over to private developers. That’s why the lawmakers are cooking up a plan to block eminent domain cases in Ohio for the next year and a half, and then study more permanent ways to limit that governmental power. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
