Ohioans already have some of the lowest home insurance rates in the US. And now, insurers say they're going to target customers in the midwest to counter their rising risks in hurricane-prone states. Ann Womer-Benjamin is the director of the state department of insurance, and says Ohioans already enjoy good insurance rates in part because of Ohio's weather, which can be unpredictable but is never as severe as the storms in the Gulf region.
