For many people the word ‘paw paw’ is a term of endearment for a father or grandparent. But the pawpaw tree has been a part of Ohio’s landscape since well before our forefathers discovered its tempting produce. Tana Weingartner from member station WMUB set out to discover the significance of the Buckeye State’s forgotten fruit.
