Ohio agriculture officials and Governor Bob Taft broke ground today on a new plant pathology building that will also house labs to study insects and seeds. The complex is being built at the Agriculture Department's headquarters in Reynoldsburg, east of Columbus. The project might sound so scientific that it's very far removed from average consumers, but outgoing state agriculture director Fred Dailey says its work will indeed impact people and agri-business. He talked about the project with Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen.
