Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": Lawmakers once again look at electing to change voting laws. Democrats hit back again against JobsOhio. And conservative activists who say they were targeted for extra scrutiny by the IRS speak out as they prepare to sue.

Ohio hits the bottom of the barrel, but this time it's a good thing.
By Bill Cohen - July 30, 2007
There's some good news for Ohio motorists - at least for the moment, they're now paying the lowest gasoline prices in the country. The Triple A Auto Club's daily survey shows the average national price for a gallon of regular is about $2.89 a gallon, while the average Ohio price is only $2.66. It's a total reversal of just two months ago, when Ohio drivers were paying a record-high $3.40 a gallon. That was nearly 20 cents above the national average. Why are Ohio fuel prices now so low compared to other states? That's the question Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen posed to the oil industry's top lobbyist in Ohio, Terry Flemming.
