A Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine anatomy professor says he's found one of the missing evolutionary links between whales and their land ancestors. In a study published in the journal Nature today, Hans Thewissen says the animal looked like a cross between a rat and tiny deer that enjoyed the water. For Ohio Public Radio, WKSU's Amanda Rabinowitz spoke with Thewissen about the animal called Indohyus. |
