Attorney General Marc Dann says he's not resigning, though all statewide elected Democrats from the governor on down have told him he must step down or face impeachment. But Dann, who's embroiled in a sexual harassment scandal and an admitted affair with a subordinate, is refusing to step down. But outside his office in Youngstown yesterday, Dann said there's too much work he has yet to do, and that he's apologized for his actions.
An investigation of his office uncovered inappropriate relationships, heavy drinking and threatening behavior by a supervisor. House Speaker Jon Husted says representatives are reviewing the impeachment process, and a resolution to impeach Dann could be introduced this week. |
