Republican presidential candidate John McCain wasted little time today, trying to grab the media spotlight from Barack Obama, after Obama accepted the Democratic party's nomination for president last night before 80,000 cheering supporters in Denver. McCain unveiled his surprise choice of a running mate, and he used a rally near Dayton as the backdrop. Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen was there and filed this report.
