The rush to April 15 is on, to get federal and state tax returns in on time. At the Ohio Department of Taxation, the workload is starting to slow up a bit. Spokesman John Kohlstrand says 2/3 of the tax returns the agency is expecting have already come in. |

| Three quarters of taxpayers are filing electronically, which Kohlstrand says gets refunds in their bank accounts in just a few business days. And he says it saves the state money by cutting down on paperwork and the time it takes to process it. Taxpayers can file electronically till midnight on Wednesday, but Kohlstrand notes there were some last-minute online glitches last year, so he advises Ohioans not to wait till the last minute. |
