Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": Lawmakers once again look at electing to change voting laws. Democrats hit back again against JobsOhio. And conservative activists who say they were targeted for extra scrutiny by the IRS speak out as they prepare to sue.

Nearly 4 million Ohioans have already sent in their tax returns to the state, most electronically.
By Karen Kasler - April 13, 2009

Three quarters of taxpayers are filing electronically, which Kohlstrand says gets refunds in their bank accounts in just a few business days. And he says it saves the state money by cutting down on paperwork and the time it takes to process it. Taxpayers can file electronically till midnight on Wednesday, but Kohlstrand notes there were some last-minute online glitches last year, so he advises Ohioans not to wait till the last minute.
