Some environmental groups are calling on Gov. Ted Strickland to block plans for prescribed burns in state forests across Ohio. The activists are making their pitch following word that the largest wildfire in modern Ohio history has finally been contained after a week-long battle. Officials say that fire was set by an arsonist, but environmental advocates want the governor to order an investigation. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
