A new study shows smoking bans do not cause job losses in bars and restaurants. Ohio State University health professor Liz Klein looked at employment trends in eight Minnesota cities that have different types of clean air policies and two cities that have no laws restricting smoking. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Klien explains her findings. |

| But some Ohio bars say they have either had to go out of business or have seen their business decline because of the state's relatively new smoking ban in public places. Legislation has been introduced that would water down the smoking ban for some bars....but so far, that proposal has not had enough support to pass the Ohio legislature. |
