Gov. Ted Strickland is floating about $2 billion in spending cuts to help plug a projected $3 billion hole in the proposed new state budget. That is drawing cries of anguish from supporters of programs for the poor and elderly. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has the latest. |
