The Ohio House has passed a bill that is meant to fix a problem with the curriculum prescribed for use in Ohio's high schools. Democratic Rep. Danny Bubp says this bill will add J-ROTC to the list of electives students are allowed to take for credit for graduation.
The Ohio Senate will now take up the issue. If the senate gives its approval, Ohio high school students will be able to take J-ROTC as an elective course for credit starting in the 2010 - 2011 school year. |
